Great to see the prints completed well and fit nicely!
As someone with little machining experience, I’m curious what these are for?
Well… Is incredibly difficult to explain without showing you on the chuck itself!
In short is a fixture to apply force OUTWARDS on the jaws while leaving the center free, so a tool can be inserted to grind the jaws faces.
This is to repair and recondition them as they are quite worn.
Sorry if it’s not clear, I don’t know how to better explain it via text!
They look awesome Stephano. Fit looks great and they appear to be plenty strong enough. I just need to get over there and do the rest of the job now.
If someone needs lathe access, simply remove them and set them aside.
