Dear All at Maker Space, these are the things I need to do:

  1. Learn how to turn my 2d drawings and paintings into 3d models that can be Laser cut or 3D printed (or other ways I don’t know about yet - plotter and vinyl cutter - others I can outsource). I don’t want to purchase models already made via Thingyverse.! Jonathan, I know you teach this so I would love to work with you.

  2. I truly need my ‘studio’ shelved and sorted - studio means the other room in my flat, a very small room, so needs compact design (Japanese style) with some items that should have many purposes. I have sketched and measured and know what’s needed but am open to good advise to redesign it. Jo, Pip? I would love to work with you.

  3. I need a website. I can do this via the ‘packages’ online but they are sooo limited. Again good advise is welcomed and truly needed. Who? Don’t know members capabilities yet.

All of these are to further my art group for kids - KidsKreate - to make futures better for kids.

I will get round to my creativity at some point :sunglasses:

I am happy to do a ‘nixer’ - Dublin talk for left of centre transactions :slight_smile: for all 3 things on my Wish List . I would rather nixer youse than inter netting!

Have you looked into wordpress. You can use a template and add code to add the bells and whitsle you want to make your website unique to you.

Tks Chanelle, yes wordpress is good but I need a bit more than it can offer and I don’t really want a Template website either - tho there are many good ones, medium to long term they’re not flexible enough. I need good advice and as usual cost will make the decision!

Do you have 5-12 yr old kids in your family/friends/neighbours? Please let them know about Kids Kreate, every Sat 9.30-11.30 in the Greenhouse at POP Brixton, it’s free.

That’s our Tomato Thank You Tin for A&C Deli on Atlantic Road, Brixton because they gave £Brixton Pound the remainder of their lease, 6 months - and £B gave us the space for free on Saturdays for the art group, am such a lucky person!

Rather than making a ‘card’ and loving A&C’s tomatoes like I did, I thought we’d have more fun this way, we sooo did and there are now many more tomatoes to go into the tin (that’s an old photo), I have to figure out a new way of including them all … :sunglasses:
