I bought my Dremel 3000 about 8 years ago, but I only used it occasionally. The brushes are only halfway through.
I wouldn’t say I am really happy with it, it had the broken wire on the stator connector in at least three occasions.
Now the coil has broken on the side it is impossible to undo one turn to repair it, and my stator is gone 
I can find a new stator for around 20-25 pounds.
A new Dremel 3000 would be 45-50 pounds.
Are there any good options for reasonable prices on Dremel or other brands that are more reliable than my 3000? I have seen Proxxon, Bosch, Dewalt seem to sell rotary tools as well.
