Hello makers,
I hung my new piece Murmuration at Great Ormond Street Hospital on Saturday.
Big shout out to Joe and Neil for their work on the piece. And to the many others who listened to me as I pontificated, navel gazed and wondered what I was actually doing.
It’s a mixed media piece. Acrylic paint on board. Laser cutting and etching. Fitted to a WR MDF box. Smart watch screens powered by ESP32 boards on custom breakouts. Two vibrating panels playing a loop of bird song: wav trigger into class d amp into Dayton audio exciters.
Ideas generated with a group of young people from the hospital.
