The mitre saw extraction has come loose a couple of times now. I think it needs retaping and attaching:

ill be back in Wednesday morning and fix if it hasnt been taken care of already
I taped it with ‘fragile’ tape earlier today. Its holding well.

just following up on this. I went to use the Festool Mitre Saw yesterday and the extraction tubing was broken again. I put a note on the machine so others can see before using it
The break was close to the machine handle

I’ve removed the broken piece of tubing that is close to the machine (there was about 10cm) and retapped it properly.
I have noticed that the other end of the tube, on the table side, is also broken. It is holding together and seems air tight thanks to the tape, but it’s only a matter of time before that breaks. Once it does there’s a good chance the tube will be too short.
Given that this seems to break repeatedly, I’m guessing it isn’t the most appropriate material. Do we need something that is more resilient to moving and flexing?
