Hi @metaltechs, had an issue with tagging into the general TC in the metal shop yesterday. Someone was tagged into the top left fob, I scanned mine to tag them out and got permission denied (with my name flashing up). I have my basic lathe induction, I think this means I should have basic permissions? My fob worked as usual on other TC nodes.

Basic metalshop has been added as an induction recently. If the metaltechs have seen you practicing the key skills in the past you should be good to be marked as allowed without an induction. That’s up to the grown ups through
Yep, so as @Destom said you need to have the general metal workshop access to operate it, but also theres a bug which means even if you do, you can’t log out someone else at the moment.

Out of interest, is there a workaround for the issue if someone has left it tagged in and gone home for the day?
Yes, if no one is using the workshop you can safely turn off power with the big switch to the left of tool control and it’ll restart the node logged out.

If the node is reflashed, it should be fixed

I was going to do it, but @mia said the code change wasn’t going to fix the issue, so I didn’t - I’m a little confused and don’t have time to check it now.
