I was planning to come down to the space this afternoon with this wardrobe latch which I need to file down to the blue line as it’s currently too high, I suspect the corresponding door latch has probably been replaced by someone at some point.
My question is, does the space have a metal file I could use or is there a better tool for the job?
There are assorted metal files. There is also a jewellers saw and a pack of blades. You could cut with that or a suitable saw and then smooth the edges with a file rather than trying to use the file to clear it all.
