Rich Maynard will be opening the doors this week as Im away.

The box of bits is in the back of the arch on the top right of the shelving.

As usual members will be working on there own projects.
All levels of experience are welcome. If your stuck ask for some help, If youve got something to show and attendees are interested please feel free to show off.

If you have an idea for a more formal show and tell or demonstration, get in touch and we can arrange a date and time for it to happen.

Are there any ethernet connections available for headless pi setups?

Hi Keith.

Yes, there is one nice long Ethernet cable you can use. I think there are some others lurking around in the back too.

Yes, there are for making projects, but if it’s for long term installation we have some space on the switch please bring your own cable though.

Maybe we need a small 8 port switch in the μMeet kit.
That way we can bring it out when needed and put it in the middle of the table wired up to the network.
Allthough eventually there will be network points around the space it would be useful to have something like this on hand for developing projects that use ethernet.

Anyone got a cheap spare 10/100 switch to donate?

Well, I think that went well. Looked like Toby made progress, Dermot did some 3D printer tinkering, Tom did some bus API stuff, Sebastien and his friend built a PIC based PCB and Lucas outshone us all with some hacked blinky LEDs. I think I helped Jim with his first steps in Arduino and got him signed up as a member.

And we made tea!
