Now that Gordon has moved away we need someone to run µMeet, it was just me and Dermot last week due to a lack of anyone posting and reminding people about it… We could do with your help!
µMeet Crisis!
I’ll be there tomorrow and could commit to being there at least every other week to ensure it runs if someone wants to share the responsibility.
I offered on slack a while back, but the kicker is i can only commit to a weekly thing if it’s Tuesday.
Not sure if that helps, but I’m constrained by family logistics.
I am not sure about moving it…
Changing nights isn’t ideal, but I think would be worth it if it meant Toby could run it.
I’m not going to be able to make it tonight after all, at least not for 7.30 . Took my bike into service and frame is cracked so won’t be a simple case of picking it up and heading to the space.
I am planning to be there tonight. I wanted to be there last week but couldn’t unfortunately.
If you want to move it to Tuesday’s it’s fine by me. I am going to put another spanner in and say that I’m not going to have the time to run Make Noise on a Tuesday’s after picking up some more work so if it’s dropped, Tuesday’s could be a viable solution.

My move has slowed down a bit so im going to try and come along next week.
Havnt been too well last few weeks so havnt been able to pop down.
Ive been fiddling some more with those Esp8266 and also got hold of one of the new official raspberry pi 7" touch screens. All towards a home monitoring/control thing. Ill bring them along.
Do you want me to start sending weekly reminders again until i finally move?

Think the weekly reminders are definitely a good thing.
The weekly reminders take a few minutes to send out every week.
If someone offered to just do those posts on here so they act as a rallying point for others to post questions about μMeet then it encourages others to come along.
We dont need someone to host the group every week as its a paid up members evening.
When I was doing it I couldnt make every meeting due to my health but they still happened without me because people were talking about them.
Occasionally we had the odd enquirey from non members asking if they could come along and have a look… But its nothing like the comitment needed for open night.
