@members as per England’s new ‘Plan B’ rules face-coverings will now be mandatory when inside SLMS workshops
This means the ‘opt out of masks’ option will no longer be possible from midnight on Thursday 9th December
It’s important that members comply with this law as the consequences for us an organisation could be severe – we will take non-compliance very seriously
If you have an exemption – or want to bring in guests who are exempt please check this with directors first
Masks are optional in the Outer Space, but it’s still recommended to maintain safe distancing
SLMS welcomes children: as children under 11 are exempt from mask use we ask you to make it clear on your booking if you are bringing unmasked children so other members can make their own decisions about attending (or contact relevant members if they’ve already booked to check it’s okay)
We want to remind everyone that SLMS has good ventilation and excellent air purifiers, and with room occupancy numbers observed it represents a relatively safe environment
