Hi everyone,
The murmurings of some mid-winter merriment have brewed into some kind of a plan.
While we can’t guarantee there won’t be Christmas tunes, we did want to guarantee a bit of a feast, and of course some communal cooking. So this time, we were thinking of trying it ‘Potluck’-style: all guests are invited to contribute a little something, whether from a kitchen, shop or wallet.
We hope to get a fair spread of hand-crafted vegan and vegetarian contributions, but also for people to feel welcome to make/bring anything they would like, including a donation if they prefer.
We can get a sense of the evolving guestlist and menu under this thread, so that we don’t end up with enough desert to feed 5000, like we do after some Gail’s collections. So if you would like to attend, and if and when you know what you’d like to contribute, please share on this thread, to be taken with a pinch of salt.
The oven and kitchen would be available as per usual if you fancy cooking something in advance - just keep everyone in the loop on the thread if you have any particular requirements. Then, on Sunday 21st:
- from around 5pm: the kitchen and some of the clean room table would be required for preparation
- from 6.30pm: drinks, snacks, canapes on the clean room table
- from 7.30pm: starters, mains, deserts on the clean room table
