Evening all,
I need to make a box that is shaped like a two step.
Can anyone offer any advice on how i can either use a box generated system o do this or how i can calculate making the comb joins using something like inkscape.
Picture of box attached.
Many thanks in advance.
But I can’t seem to go beyond the standard box?
I can make the smaller box no problem, well with some modifications in inkscape so the bottom can be open with no teeth.
But I cannot figure out how to make the first box as I can only provide 3 measurements and I need to add few more.
This loos like it might be the right tool - you supply the basic shapes and then tell it which edges fit to which. Will have a fiddle and report back…

Thanks Rich, will check this out also, my brain is on overload at the moment and trying to figure how actual use Tom’s suggestion.
I struggled to produce a SVG that was “deconstructed” enough to be able to pick the individual edges…
that’s what I did
I think I’m tired, I’ll try again in the morning. I can’t currently work out how to attach the choosen join option to the box segment. Will revisit after some rest.
Thanks for the assistance!
