I want to cast a small part in aluminium. I’ve not cast anything before but using the lost pla method looks good according to YouTube research!
Does anyone have experience with this and/or access to a small jewellers kiln and small furnace + crucible
Let me know your thoughts on the process. Any help would be much appreciated.

ive done this last year to make a die shape to use in a vac former but I used low melt metal instead, if you want to do it with low melt or aluminium ingots you could use an electric melt pot alec tiranti do a couple of versions and have a great reference book on how to do metal casting safely and efficiently , I hope this is of some help to you, Brian D=
I’d be very interested in that process for a screwdriver bit adaptor. And therefore I’d be grateful to assist or shadow the process.
