Hi, looking for a small section of 18mm birch plywood for a project. Don’t know if anyone here would have some they’re willing to sell? Approx size 35cm long, max 15cm wide. Thanks!

I don’t have any birch ply at the moment, but I have light-coloured 18mm BB/BB hardwood ply, 18mm hardwood marine ply (slightly darked and reddish) hardwood, and BB/BB construction ply (reddish hue).
I also have some left-over Osmo Polyx Oil in white and some Osmo white stain if you want to give that a go?

Also worthwhile noting it’s B&Q birchwood ply, so not particularly good quality!

Along the same lines, anyone got any max thickness 3mm plywood 300 x 900 minimum 4 to 8 pieces? Or where to find some, I´ve been googling…

I have never yet seen 3mm plywood. At least not as a standard component regularly available off the shelf. Apologies if I’m being daft, but that would be a single layer of 3mm wood. What you’re probably after if you’re after something that is 3mm thick made of wood is a 3mm wood veneer?
Selco do a cheap and cheerful quality 3.6mm ply and will cut down a 1800x600 sheet for you in store.
You can get nicer faced 3mm stuff from the laser suppliers (hobarts.com, kitronik.co.uk)
Yes, I stand corrected. We apparently even have 3mm plywood in the laser section in the SLMS shop (by the laser available for purchase).
