ke footballs, cones, slalom poles, and mini goals across grass and uneven surfaces.

The design includes:

  • Welded steel or aluminium frame (approx. 4ft high)
  • Solid base so poles and cones don’t fall through
  • Mesh sides for visibility and airflow
  • Four large pneumatic wheels for outdoor use
  • Push bar at one end and a tow handle at the other

We have a full blueprint and visual mock-up available and can provide key materials like wheels or mesh panels if needed. The goal is to create a durable, easy-to-use trolley that makes equipment transport safer and more efficient for our volunteer coaches.

We’re working with a limited budget, so this could suit a student project, community build, or skilled hobbyist interested in helping a youth sports club. If you’re interested in collaborating or taking on the build, we’d love to hear from you!

Hi there,

What kind of budget are you working with? Similar options are available at not too high prices.

Here is one that has always been super solid for me: Platform Trolley with 3 or 4 Sides – Engineered Solutions

Otherwise, a super cheap option would be some thick plywood for an open box and then this cheap set of rough terrain wheels for the pitch.

Hi Jacob,

Thank you for your reply — you’ve been really helpful with your suggestions and have given me some great ideas. I may go for the budget-friendly option for now, but I’ll definitely consider the platform trolleys you recommended when we (hopefully) have a bigger budget in the future.

Best regards,
Colin
