Light fitting 2.0

The first light fitting I made works great but, I figured I could make a better version.

I used a long 6mm drill bit to drill a hole straight through. I have increased the diameter and shortened the post.
I can now drop a machine screw straight through; it’s got to be stronger than glue and tapping.
This version works in any hole along the back of the bench.
Having an adjustable light on the bench is very useful. Raking light from left or right increases the efficacy of markings. It’s a game changer when cutting joinery with a chisel or sawing to a line.
