Laser nozzle too tight to remove

Tags: #<Tag:0x00007fa495a88338>

I was running a few papercuts on the laser this morning - which worked nicely. However, I wasn’t able to remove the nozzle for checking before (or after). Mirror and lens came off nicely and have been cleaned.
I am keen to hear if unscrewing the nozzle is simply about applying more force or using a tool, both of which I didn’t want to do without checking in.

This has been a problem for quite a few month.
I think people tend to tighten it up too much.

If it’s really not coming off you can use a piece of leather (there is some in the bottom drawer in the sewing area.

Dont use any tools for this, regular cleaning of the nozzle and all parts as per inductions will prevent it getting stuck…

Just covering all bases…it has a reverse thread. Turn clockwise to loosen!
