@lasertechs
I have just received a Hardware error E2000_131, Tracking error on x-axis
Tried resetting, but system stopped and displayed error message about 20 seconds into my build once again…..
Please advise……
Sounds like and issue with it the laser caddy hitting the stop switches.
- Turn off the machine
- careful move the laser caddy by hand 10-20cm towards the centre of the machine (don’t touch the beam)
- shut the lid
- turn the machine back on
See if that works
I reset the computer and it is up and running again!
You are right, the head was triggering the stop switch..,
Thank you!
Just stopped again half way through a cut… same message…..
I have had no luck with the cutter today… error massage continues…
I’ll have a look at it when i’m in tomorrow evening
Yes this keeps happening to me also. Someone reported the same issue the other day but provided no further information.
I cant see any logical reason for it to be happening and searcxhing the internet didnt help much as that error code has a variety of causes
Last time this happened wasn’t it the linear bearings having high friction and causing the motor not to reach the right place quick enough?
Interesting thanks for the knowledge. I’m going to have a look inside the machine tomorrow and will provide an update
I was using it all day yesterday and wasn’t able to replicate
Hey guys, using the laser this evening and have run into this error mid job It engraved fine then when I was cutting at p90 v0.8 it would give in. It will finish a path before giving the error but initially managed to get about 5 mins into the job, now each time I try again it’ll do about 20 seconds. Have restarted the computer, confirmed it’s not near the far edges but can’t find any reason for it to have failed
It also gave the error when I was moving the head with the controls on the machine
So in the end I managed to cut things fine on the right half of the bed, not sure if it’s possibly an issue with the x axis when it’s on the left side
Thanks for updating @Tijan , please make sure you tag the techs/me when reporting because I could of missed your message.
Im investigating the cause of the issue, will provide an udpate
think ive found the cause, a fastener had come loose inside the mechanism which was allowing a bit of movement inside the gantry. Ive put a new fastener in now so fingers crossed that fixes the issue.
Please keep an eye out everyone and report any issues to us as soon as they arise.
Thanks
