Laser connection (?) trouble

Hey, I’m having some trouble with the laser cutter

I can’t get the laser alignment cross hairs to show up on the prepare screen. I’ve gone through all the steps I could see on the discourse user manual (like checking laser mode, restarting things and repeating all the setup steps) but no luck. When I first logged in there was an “update complete” notification, so maybe it could be related to that?

Looks like it’s not connecting properly as it’s been stuck on initialising and it’s not possible to use any laser controls on the PC, or send stuff to the laser.

Axis control on the actual laser buttons works fine. The green light in the middle of the arrow buttons stays blinking.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
