Hey, was looking to use the laser cutter later today if possible but a bit unsure on how to book the space and can’t seem to make one on the space bookings page, if there is a red dot on the date does that mean I can book today? Sorry for all the questions!
To use the laser cutter you have to be inducted in how to use it safely, if you’ve got that then you can use it, either by booking, or when it isn’t booked first come first served.
If you have shutter access the process might have an extra step, but otherwise, you open the space booking for the day you want to book, and scroll down to the laser cutter and see whether your booking time ‘clashes’ with anyone elses:
So you click “Space Open” from 10am:
It will pop up and you can click the heading to go to the details:
You can see the current bookings for today:
Then you can fit your booking around these.
To add your booking click the edit icon at the lower right of the post:
And use it like normal, remembering to save!
