Hello all. I’ve put Petra’s fantastic lathe training into good use, with my first Project being a tulipwood lamp turned from a standard blank. It’s gone pretty well, though I’m a but unhappy with a chip I didn’t notice until I’d finished. I’ll use that side as the where the cable feeds out I guess.
I do need help from one of the @woodlathetechs or someone who is qualified and experienced to put a whole through the middle of the lamp. I know using the lathe is the best way to do this, but I’m not inducted to L2 and using chucks. Is there anyone who can show me in the coming week or two? I plan on making another lamp next, so would really appreciate learning for that one.
