Kitchen Stuff

Kettle appears to be cracked is leaking, is it possible to purchase a new one?

Fridge left open over night an d is now leaking from underneath, is there any objection to throwing away items in freezer that thawed.

@boldaslove would it be possible to purchase a large teapot with strainer for kitchen?

It’s a yes from me for all of those things.

The fridge will have an evaporation tray in the back on top of the motor, if the fridge was left open this will be overflowing. If you pull the fridge out the tray should be accessible to clean. That should stop the leaking (it will stop by itself but better to clear the tray anyway)

I’ll have a look when I’m in tomorrow

So sorry, was planning to be at the space this afternoon but unfortunately something urgent has come up and I can’t make it. If anyone else has seen this post, please can you assist with clearing the leak.

Thanks

the general budget isnt big enough to get a keetle. unless we want to buy something thats going to break soon.

ild suggest getting something more expensive that will last.

ill have a look for a tea pot. or send me a link if you have something in mind

what about a hot water dispenser rather than a kettle?

i have never used one before.
not sure how they work.
are they green?
do we care?

just putting it out there.

for example:

There is a £16 kettle on amazon made of metal I have it. Works great.

I can drop by the space with a new kettle on my way home today

I love hot water dispensers they use it a lot in Japan (not this exact model) it’s also insulated and keeps the water warm to save electricity.

Sounds cool. guessing they last a bit longer than a kettle in this kind of situation?

If they are more energy efficient that would count in their favour. Main issue with kettles seems to be boiling much more water than is needed? Plus they aren’t thermally insulated.

This could be a benefit, the space is really cold at the moment

You are right but the kettle heat up the water only when needed, the dispenser is always on… I vote for kettle

Check the link: these ones only heat up water when needed!
