Kitchen appliances improve proposal

So i hear that my contact focusses mainly on the disposable pod type of coffee.

Some brief research shows a few local roasteries:

I would guess its going to be around £65 or so for 3kg at a time, which is probably like 150 coffees. So recommendex donation of 50p per coffee should cover the cost of coffee plus any descaling stuff needed. the only thing to check is that we will get throuh 3kg in a reasonable amount of time.

£22 a kilo is way too much! Unfortunately that’s what the small companies have to charge.

You can get illy or lavazza for £14-16 online

And I have tried most of them.

My personal favourite is sainsburys own fair trade espresso beans

Best flavour IMHO

And £2 for 227g
So works out at under £9 kilo

Even better when they have their regular 2 for £3 offer

Also not keen on charging for coffee.

Can you imagine someone walking into the messy room and saying " I am making drinks, any tea drinkers want a cup of tea?"
Or on open evening asking the coffee drinkers to cough up 50p

I think the best way is for the coffee drinkers amongst us when they do their weekly shop
To buy a bag of espresso beans and bring it in when next in the space.

The cleaning and descaling tablets are an essential to keep the machine running at tip top running order abd as such I suggest they are paid for by the membership. They will last ages

This is what they look like, I have got two to bring in!

That’ll do I guess! As long as we always get the same sort (maybe get an old packet so and stick it somewhere so people know what to buy).

If we want to say that tea/coffee is free to all members (is that what we want to say?) then wouldn’t it make sense to fund it out of the membership? In which case we could have an account with a wholesaler and get a delivery of tea/coffee/whatever else once a month (for example) that just comes out of the account and nobody has to buy anything…
