My name is Rafe Bowden I am 14 years old and I was curious if despite my age if it is possible to do anything based on textiles and 3D printing I am taking DT for GCSE but I cant seem to get enough of it. I am happy to pay full price for the member ship and be a good volunteer. Can I still join the wait list.

Unfortunately you need to be 18 to join the Makerspace, but you can come as a guest of another member if you have a 18+ parent, guardian, friend that wants to join, but they would need to accompany you every time.
There might be school or other types of Makerspaces that are a better fit?

Hi Rafe,
we have an Open evening this Wednesday if you and your Dad would like a tour of the space before joining.
(Those four years will pass very quick!) 
There’s also our Maker Festival on the 11-12th May where the space will be open to all with lots of things to have a go on - including textiles and 3d printing areas
