Just an update on the bird box! It has been on the wall for over two years now.
No footage from last year as friends borrowed the house during spring and turned it off. So all activity had finished when we arrived and just found a new empty nest so we presume there was a clutch of birds last year.
Anyway over this winter it was used by a solitary bird as shelter during the winter months.
During March the droppings were cleared up and a new nest started .
April 1st there was concern as there was a two hour fight between two birds for control of the box. (Scenes too graphic to put on here!)
Anyway the victor carried on and now we have 9 healthy chicks.
