How would you fix a hanging rail on a sloping wall?

I have to hang a clothes rail, its a narrow span 30-40cm…both walls are plasterboard…the tricky bit is one wall is sloping at approx 45degrees.

How should I do it? Cut two 2x4in brackets and sit the rail in a groove on top?

I have plasterboard rawl plugs, its the sloping wall that is troubling me.

Not sure I completely understand the description, but I if I do I’d make a 45 degree wooden block so you’re fixing the rail to something vertical.

Understood perfectly! : )

And will be generous with the rawl plugs
