Hi Guys I would like to have an induction on the laser cutter, could someone point me to were I can sign up for the inductions

Hi Colin,

Now that we’ve cleared the backlog, there are no more waiting lists. When a session is announced, it’s first come, first served. You can get alerts for new sessions by going to #admin:induction-sessions and setting the category to Watching First Post

Yes I can see that there were two on Saturday I could have totally made it too bummer.

Many thanks too Tom, just as a guide do you know how often the courses are on?

Also if some one who is trained, is at the space and is happy to set the machein would I be allowed to sit there putting in small parts and pressing the go button I have 30 small objects that all need the same process doing to them.

Hi Col3Ddesign, unfortunately not. You can only use the machine if you are inducted this includes just pressing go. The laser is currently out of action awaiting a new lens. Check discourse for an announcement to say when it back in operation.

A kind soul on here laser cut the pieces I needed before I was inducted.

If you upload the files here and provide the laser-certified material, someone will probably do it for you. It usually only takes 5 mins
