Hi. We are a small group from Denmark who would like to visit South London Makerspace next week. Unfortunately we cant make it to your open evening next wednesday. Would it be possible for us to see the place sometime next thursday? Will there be anyone we can talk to?

Hi Niels,

Thursday evening is Electronics Night so there’s always a group there from 7.30 or earlier.

I’d be happy to show you around.

The back half of the space is under intense construction at the moment, so there might well be a group working on that too.

Look forward to seeing you then.

If the evening doesn’t work for you there may be others around during the day. Let us know.

Hi @JackieO will be here at 10:00 and could do a little tour but there would be more people to talk to if you came Thursday evening.

FYI: we now have a hackerspace passport stamp, just need an ink pad.

We had a nice visit from Neils and his team just now. They are looking to set up a new makerspace on their campus. They very kindly presented us with a gift of a Sparkfun Makey Makey which I’m sure members will have lots of fun playing with.

@unknowndomain made a ‘Hackspace passport stamp’ with our ‘M’ on it, but I don’t think we have an ink pad yet. Some visitors like to collect!
