Hey, another bed topic...fancy that

@CriticalTolerance - saw your bed post and was rather impressed. Thought I’d share the process of my bed I constructed shortly prior to joining SLMS.

This was something I planned and designed myself, and as such probably flies in the face of all convention and woodwork rules…but hey, I enjoyed it and it worked!

I had an old ottoman bed I pulled apart and decided to make a new frame whilst keeping the base and mechanism. I used 4x2 PAR pine which I joined using insert nuts and threaded socket bolts. It was done this way so I could dismantle in future if needed and also so I could assemble without you seeing any holes or bolts.
