A couple of thoughts…

Poll closed

At 21:00 the Italian job and life of BRIAN were beck and neck.

Looks like horsepower crucified monty python

So we will be showing

The original Italian job

Definitely up for some radio-controlled mini action. I’m sure we can improvise a course with suitably makery obstacles.

With the obligatory steps, jumps and of course the tunnel

Can we blow the doors off the snug?

We could certainly “blow” the doors open to the messy workshop, where we’ve made out the radio-controlled car course. Would be a nice reveal, eh.

Or lock-pick challenge?

We have a couple of members who dabble in lock picking…

In a nonprofessional way I should probably add…

Yes, this. Would love to be shown the ropes. Though maybe using ropes is my first mistake?

It’s a hacker staple.

Yes lock pick challenge/demo!!! I was locked out of my flat today

Will the wood workshop be open on this date? I’ve just realised I’m down to help someone on the lathe on evening of 14th? Should I reschedule?

Oh Yes! Well spotted! Am happy to reschedule if you want to watch the film…or lathe is inaccessible

Anyone got any Scalextric?

Yes. Can’t remember if any Minis survived…

Do you think we can use the lathe on the film night?

I’d be happy to chip in for some

Modern Scalextrix, so would need adaptors to join with the original stuff, I have a box of the old stuff somewhere too.

Did you get an answer on this? I’m not sure if it would be wise. Two main thoughts

  1. The wood workshop is sound insulated, but I think having a film next door pushes the brief there.
  2. There’ll be no access to the rear workshops while the film is on.
