Help with small project

Hi Everyone,

I have recently re-subscribed after taking some timeout, I have a lot of idea’s and can’t wait to re-engage with the community.

I have a small project which I would like some help with. I have a left-over piece of wood bench-top leftover from a kitchen renovation, it measures: 43cm x 30cm x 4cm. I would like to turn it into two chopping boards by cutting them in half so they would both be 2cm thick, I then would like use the large planer to make sure they are flat before sanding the edges.

I would appreciate any help regarding using the bandsaw and planer. I did complete the woodwork induction last year, but I need to complete the assessment for these tools. Hence, if someone can do the cutting / planning, that would be greatly appreciated.

I am quite flexible with my time, so please reach out if you can help :slight_smile:

Hope you are well. Just a quick one. I’m at the makers space today and I don’t seem to have access to the bandsaw. Who can I reach out to so I can get my fob activated?

Can you clarify whether you need the induction, or if you have had the induction and your fob hasn’t been activated?

It’s the latter, I had the induction with Paul L in Feb, just need my fob activated.

Ah I’m so sorry i think I forgot to put in a request after your induction. I have done so now, you should get access very soon.
