Help with my MacBook

Hello Everyone, I am trying to fix my MacBook logic board and I was wondering if anyone could help me with this project. I think some diode might be cooked and need to be replaced.
I do not have electronic skills about circuit board .
If someone could help me that would be amazing.
thanks.

what model, year, etc.

did you own it whilst it still worked.

what leads you to consider a diode.

what happened to it?

In all honesty i don’t have the mental bandwidth or time to diagnose it for you as my life has been turned upside down recently, however I’m willing to bring in some of my tools and replace the components once you arrive at a conclusion as to what needs replacing.

There should be other people here that can help you diagnose it.

You will typically need a donor board for parts. etc. as that’s really convenient for swapping over.

It’s a macbook pro late 2011.
I am owning it for 10 years and never had problems.
The problem is that it doesn’t charge the battery. Green light stable on charger.
I replace the battery but didn’t fix the problem so I took it to a repair shop and it has been told me it was the logic board. The guy fix it and the MacBook worked for about 6 weeks and now back to the same problem.
I looked at the logic board and I see that a few diodes has been re-glue and some look bad.
Perhaps might worth to replace the entire board as it is easy to find second head easily?

Ive spoken with a guy who had a problem that sounded like yours and somehow changing the charging port part fixed it.

2011 has a notorious fault with amd gpu as well.

genuine power adapter ?

i have a generic one and it dumps a lot of energy instantly into the port and damages it little by little each time i connect it.

so in my case for a 2011 i too will need to change the socket as it is a nightmare to get charging.

The charger is genuine. How can I test the charging port?
