I’ve had an urgent project request (by Sunday) to make a 23x23x23 metal box (with lid) and so need to cut/ bend / weld some sheet metal …. Is anyone around to induct me so that I’m allowed to use the areas (welding, plasma cutter, brake press?), or could help me out if they have already been inducted? Would be eternally grateful for any help.
I should also preface I know how to weld / use a plasma cutter already - but just need to use your lovely space if poss!
Sorry, as a 100% volunteer run organisation we are likely not a good space for urgent anything. First off you need to be a member, and then once you join there is a 1-3 month wait for popular tools like welding. Take a look at the details of how to join here for future projects!
Sorry for the confusion - I thought I had already finalised my membership. I will take a look and make sure I have completed all the steps today. Understood that its a volunteer run org, I’ve been shown around the space a couple of times and absolutely love the community you have all created.
