Help needed in the metalshop Friday 27th of March 17:30

Hi All,

Right — the bandsaw is basically there. It’s nearly ready for induction, nearly ready for use… and currently has nowhere to live.

That’s where this Friday comes in.

Myself and @VintageSteel are taking on the glamorous job of clearing out the cubby hole cabinet so we can claim that space properly. The plan is simple: everything out, cabinet moved, contents sorted. Anything worth keeping stays (and gets a proper home), everything else finally meets the bin.

If you’ve ever wanted to help make the space more organised, easier to use, and better for everyone — this is a great chance to get involved.

We’ll be there from 5:30pm until late. Turn up for 10 minutes or stay all evening, it all helps. The more people we have, the quicker (and less painful) it is.

Come get stuck in, have a laugh, and help us make the space better for everyone.

PS: Biscuits and (soft) drinks will be provided! :smiley:

Hi, I’m available to help out on Friday evening, is there still nowhere for bikes? Just so I can plan how to get there

There is no bike rack in the estate, but there is lots of bike parking just across the street…
