Help needed for BikeArea on big CNC

Hi folks,

As many of you know, the BikeArea has come along nicely thanks to our #biketechs, bike users, and the occasional great volunteer (shout-out to @danielbenton, @dannz @metaltechs!). However, we’re not done…

For several months, the last major piece of the puzzle has been right outside of our grasp: the bottom half of the peg board. We have have the wood, we have the CNC bits, but what we don’t have is anyone Big CNC-licensed to drill ≈1048 symmetrically spaced holes for us (took 40 mins the first time).

It’s a source of stress for me every time I’m in the space, because without the completed tool board all of our carefully assembled bike kit is jumbled together, which increases the likelihood of a mess being made and tools going missing. If someone could relieve me of this burden, I’d be very grateful as it would unlock the last step to getting the BikeArea fully established.

With the extraordinary support of @Federico (who missed the last train home to get this done!), habemus tabula! It’ll take a few days to plan out, but finally every tool will have a home.

Update- I’ve set up the boards in draft configuration with most of the tools hung up. It’ll take some time to test out the best configuration for everything, after which we’ll square up and paint the boards, but In the mean time please try to return the tools to where you found them, and enjoy the Bike Area.
