My family has this denby sugar container from an early 200s line they don’t make anyone and it got dropped this morning ![]()
It’s not taken any damage on a part where food goes so do I have any chance of being able to expoxy it back and colour match the paint? Or does @CeramicsTechs think I could somehow refire it if I found a match for the glaze?
I’m sorry the lid has been broken.
You can repair carefully with epoxy glue, fill and colour match paint. Seal so it can be occasionally washed.
Reglazing is not an option - the ceramics is broken and colour matching glaze is near impossible.
Best k
Good opportunity to do some kintsugi !! It doesn’t have to be real gold.
