I have reduced the hard point saws to a handful. The ones left:
- Mostly don’t have missing teeth.
- Are reasonably straight.
- Were sharp, at some point in their life, presumably, one imagines.
There is now room in the till for all the traditional saws which Giles has done such a nice job on and the handful of hard points which seemed ok.
I’ve de-handled the scrap and left it hanging on a nail behind the scrap bins, because we have heavy duty shears in the metal shop and this stuff is great for cutting up into stock for heavy-ish duty card scrapers. We can bin it at the end of October if it’s not being used, but I’ve already cut myself a couple and want to do one or two more so I figured other people might too.
