As promised in the Guitar Building and Maintenance discussion, I will bring my electric guitar to our first gathering tonight and demonstrate how I put new strings on. Not the “correct” way, but the way I do it - which is probably wrong. Disagreements and debate anticipated and welcomed. I also offer to pass on some of what I have learned over the years about choosing and buying strings, etc mostly based on what professional guitar techs have told me.
