Does anyone have a good setting/default for 1.5mm Laminate saved or noted down? Have ordered some of this: https://hobarts.com/sheet-materials/laminate_124_6/5mm-red-on-white-laminate-610x305mm-ref-2903-p-992.html and want to make the most of the material.
As always, experiment: Start with 100% and high speed (20% maybe) and reduce speed until you get a good cut. You can make very very short cuts on the corner/edge to keep the rest pristine.

To expand on this rule of thumb for finding material cutting settings:
If the material is less than 0.5mm thick or known to be very melty:
- Maximum speed
- Low power
- Adjust the power up until it cuts reliable on corners, curves and straights.
Optionally: Adjust the pulses per inch frequency lower to avoid putting too much power into the material and melting/obliterating it.
If the material is thicker than 0.5mm:
- Maximum power and speed
- Adjust the speed down until it cuts reliably on corners, curves and straights.
Optionally: Adjust the pulses per inch frequency higher to get a smoother, and faster cut.

If this isn’t a wiki page it should be - very clearly put. Thanks both for the guidance.
