Glass cutting equipment

Does anyone have glass cutting equipment i could borrow please?

A neighbour is throwing out vintage single pane bathroom sash windows and I wanted to cut the frosted glass out to use for another project.

Can post a pic Tuesday

I have a glass cutter. I can bring it on Saturday. Not always easy to do a cut out but I can try and help! Might be easier to deglaze the sash first

You have to take out putty out of the windows and take the glass out then cut it , and old glass can be a pain cut, but if I a about I will be happy to help

Thanks @joeatkin2 @Jackd …I’ll bring windows down saturday…they are not full size sashes, small ones.

I suspect cutting the glass will leave razor sharp edges…should I buy some special sandpaper to use to leave smooth/rounded edges?

If you want to clean the edge

It’s old glass it might just make broken glass.

You will need 3 in 1 oil as well

And a glass cutting tool

I have a glass cutter, will look tonight if I have the oil for it but like Joe said 3 in 1 is just as good. I thought I saw some by the wood lathe?
