Havent done it before but it logically makes sense (well in my head anyway) But has anyone printed a TPU gasket and if so how were the results?
Gaskets
I cut the gasket shapes I need out of materials that I can get in sheet form - silicone sheets, rubber sheets, gasket paper sheets etc.
Also curious about whether such components could.be 3D printed - the challenge may be to have it print well and still have a degree of compressibility.

yeah agreed! im only thinking about small non high heat ones (my example is a go pro case) so outside temperature is the worst it will get as well as the compression isnt needed other than for a nice fit i.e if it leaks its not end of the world. TPU resin could also be fun to trial but i can only imagine the support clean up being a nightmare. anyway ill do some testing at some point and report back
there are other flexible filaments other than TPU. TPE and TPC are alternatives that might ne worth looking into. Apparently PC can bond to TPU but the TPU would have to be fed spearely so the material changes would be very manual. I think you can do it though.
Another vote for cutting out gaskets but CNC is an option as well; I’ve machined silicon rubber at home with good results
