Free Vacuum Former?! Would need help with collecting it

Hi!!
My work has offered me the this Vacuum Former for free. Its in perfect condition and ready tu use! Would this be something that could be useful for the space?

Unfortunately I don’t drive or have a car…If this is something that interests us, would anyone be able to help me bring it to the space? Ideally with a car! UAL School of Pre-Degree Studies, Lime Grove.

They are looking to get rid of it in the next three weeks and there are more people interested so it would be good to make a decision as soon as possible!

Do you have the dimensions of this, that’s probably the biggest factor other than ‘do we want it’, thanks!!

It’s pretty cool:C.R. Clarke 725FLB Vacuum Former | AES Ltd. =&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=24326111982&gbraid=0AAAAADov2Wa328OpBOjx7IUh76nGFqxmH&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlNTbi6q3lwMVS5tQBh0d6B-oEAQYASABEgK82PD_BwE

If we can make space for it, I’d be happy to collect it.

From the datasheet:

Dimensions (LxWxH) - without stand
609.6 x 857.2 X 579.1

• 228mm x 432mm (9 x 17in) forming aperture
• 6mm (0.25in) max material thickness
• 140mm (5.5in) max mould height

Approximately 645 mm wide × 861 mm deep × 579 mm high, without the stand

With a 432 × 228 mm forming aperture, taking a 458 × 254 mm plastic sheet up to 6 mm thick

@lasertechs @silkscreentechs @CNCtechs do you think that we could make room for this in the

dirty

messy room? It would be a great addition to the space.

We don’t have enough space as it is, see the guillotine currently shoved next to the drying rack.
I like the idea of a vacuum former, just not there. Could it maybe go on a shelf in the snug?

We might be able to replace the one in 3d Print

@3dtechs

That’s a good plan
