Free project bike for anyone who wants it

Bought a cheap project bike last September with the aim of turning it into a pub bike - unfortunately we’ve had to move house and there’s no room at the new place. Free to anyone who wants it.

It’s a Raleigh Europa - vintage road bike on a reasonably big frame. I’ll throw in all the parts I bought for it which are:

  • New tires
  • New tubes
  • Brake and gear cables and cable tubes
  • chain

I’ve straightened the wheels and cleaned all the parts - just wants putting back together.

Joe was talking about really wanting a bike at some stage. Might be worth letting him know about this.

Hi Ed, I would love to take it off your hands if it happens to still be going! I’ve fixed up a few bikes over the years and love the look of the Raleigh, would enjoy putting it back together :slight_smile:

I was chatting to him about it a while back - I think he wants something slightly different to what I have but thanks for the reminder.
