Foldable steps for textile room?

Yes, I’m on the scrounge again :rofl: Looking for any woodworkers who would like a project to help their fellow makerspacers…

The textile room had some wonderful new shelves (thanks @Sean ) that I intend to take full advantage of - however, I am a short-arse!
We now need some steps that would allow somebody who is 5 foot nothing to reach the boxes on those shelves safely. Ideally something that can be folded away or is dually useful if taking up space.
I’m happy to work with you looking at designs - or let your imagination go where it wants!

Anybody fancy a go?

I would strongly recommend just buying a set and pushing the bill in. Pick a class 1 or 2

Building a wooden stepladder sounds like a very interesting woodworking project, I just worry it would also lead to an interesting story about how I broke my neck

Probs best to just buy one yeah haha
