How about we replace OUR light(s) with the existing fitting for now, at reasonable cost, and see if it works? Arthur thinks, as I understood him, that there may be other electrical problems with the estate’s system so at least we could test that. Then propose more elaborate, environmentally friendly long-term solutions to Arthur including costing, if we want to expend that kind of effort. Yes, this is not the perfect solution but will get us some exterior light at no cost and little effort right now. I feel the unlit area outside the Space is dangerous at night.
We could have some liability issues if an accident or assault were to occur, on open night for example.
i.e. we need to fix this now.
