Hey all, has anyone made a Switchbox for Tekken etc before here? I learnt to play with the hand controls reversed on the PC version of Tekken 7 (movement with the arrow keys and UIJKOL left hand). I wanna make a switch box with the same layout. I’m confident in theory with how to do it but I have no experience really putting something like this together so it’d be nice to get some advice if anybody is willing to share. I’m thinking maybe laser cutting the box and glueing it together though not very literate in the type of raw materials required. Thanks a bunch :]

Hi. In terms of the enclosure, your options are laser cut acrylic or a 3D print.
The laser cut box may be easier to design as you can use a box generator and then acrylic weld the pieces together. The 3D print will probably give you a more satisfying feeling in the hand as you can round the edges etc. If the switchbox follows a common build, you’ll probably find a downloadable 3D file on https://www.yeggi.com/ If you post more about your proposed approach, I’m sure you’ll get many more pointers.
