I made a stem bag a while ago and decided to experiment with adding some internal foam packing to the design to give it more structure.
I was pleased enough with the new one that I u picked the lining of the old one and added some to that too.
Now I just need to make the bar and rack top bags I’ve been planning to do for three years…
And get out the house and make use of them.
I’ve been using a modern Singer machine for the last year or so and while it’s great (lots of variety of stitches and it does buttonholes automatically), I recently got hold of a 1960s Brother machine. It only does straight stitch but it’s practically silent by comparison to the modern machine. Incredible machine.
