EufyMake E1 resin Printer - DRAFT

Specifications

This is a Full colour, Direct to Media (DTM) Style printer.

Various printable dimensions dependant on attachments.

This machine uses a CMYK + W + gloss ink set.

Additional ink sets to be made available in the future.

This machine is operable in both an open and closed format dependent on the attachment and print requirements.

The printer should always remain with power on due to the nature of the inks.

Mini Flat Bed

Print Dimensions: 80mm x 330mm Max

Operate with both covers closed.

For smaller items, can operate in the smallest form factor.

Standard Flat Bed

Print Area: 330mm X 410mm max

Operation: Both covers open, Move unit to large table.

Rotary Attachment

Straight sided cylindrical and conical objects
Object diameter 40mm min -100 mm max
Length 80mm min -245 mm Max

Lamination Unit

This unit is used separately to laminate films, create stickers and make transfers. This is should only be used alongside the Eufy machine and with approved materials.

Induction and Training

An induction is required to operate this machine.

As part of the sponsor agreement, all inductions costs for the period of 3/10/2025- 31/01/2026 inclusive, will be waived.

The machine is only currently operational via the two main computers in the space. (hopefully the will become more flexible in the future with firmware updates)

As with other 3D printers in the space. Unattended/overnight printing is not allowed.

Software

The software used to operate this printer is eufyMake Studio:

The printer is operated directly from the software and is linked to a specific account. The accounts are logged in on the maker space machines in the clean room.

Do not log out of the accounts logged in in the clean room and do not attempt connect a personal device

Materials

Resin - All resins are to be supplied by the space and paid for by the members via the SLMS shop.

Materials/print surfaces - TBC the space to stock printable items for the machine. People can provide their own materials as long as they meet the requirements laid out in the induction.

Booking

You will be required to book this machine in advance. The software does not currently produce time estimates for prints. please allow all

Within the initial sponsorship period we ask that considerations are make to ensure lots of members have the chance to try the machine. Please use your judgment in terms of how much you are using it.

(Note: The following is effectively the contents of the induction process, if it exists)

Before Use

The machine has various modes of operation dependant on the print being made. Make sure that you use the most appropriate build plate for the print you are making.

Machine and material prep:

  1. Select build plate.
  2. Decide on alignment solution Camera (max 60mm) or zero point(max 100mm)
  3. Back the item with masking tape if needed as per induction.
  4. Load the part into the printer.
  5. If printing in open operation, ensure extraction is turned on.

  1. Proceed to align the print.
  2. send the print to the printer
  3. note the amount of ink used before pressing start on the printer!
  4. press the start button on the printer begin the print.

After Use

  1. after printing is complete, remove your part from the printer.
  2. Make sure the printer is closed up and place the mini build pate mack in the machine.
  3. make sure the extraction is turned off if it was used.
  4. **Do not turn off the printer

Maintenance

Users should not change inks and/or the machine cleaning revisor. The mini and standard bed for the machine are sacrificial though care should be take to prolong the lifespan of the beds. Do not change the sacrificial beds on the machine.
