Eufymake E1 UV Printer

Hi there

Came to the open evening on Wednesday and it was really great to see the space and meet a few people. Big thanks to @NRoyle for the thorough tour!

I’ve got a project where I’d like to try a few tests on the eufymake UV printer. I was told it’s currently out for repairs atm. Does anyone know when it might be back in action?

Hi Yann, it was lovely to meet you on Wednesday. I believe @scday94 might be the person to ask about this, as he owns the induction list for it.

Best to tag @3dtechs as I’m no longer a 3D tech. It is currently out of action and not sure on time scale of the repair.

I believe @LouLou is trying to persuade eufyMake to exchange the printer. The one in our space, an early model (could be considered a prototype) has clogged pumps. There is no date yet for a replacement but I’m probably as keen as you to see UV printing back in the space.

PS: as you might imagine, UV resin curing inside the works is very bad news (expensive), a bit like cement setting in a cement mixer!

Thanks @NRoyle & @maji for the info, really appreciate it. By the sounds of it its unlikely it will be available anytime soon.

I saw there were a few samples in the 3D printing space (photos atatched). Do you know who made these? I’d love to ask a few questions to the person who made them (how complicated the set was, duration of print etc).

I think those are the samples that come with the eufy software.

These are not samples that come with the printer. These were made by @LouLou. The mushroom was made by myself.

Oh cool, I don’t think I saw the mushroom.
@scday94 if you have anytime time at all tomorrow morning I’d love to ask you a few questions as part of my research. Mostly regarding speed, extraction requirements and ease of use.

Hi Yann,

This is my design, it’s a photo of a resin of artwork I created and then used the Eufy app to adjust the depth/texture of the image, feel free to ask any questions or DM me!

We are currently in talks with Eufy about how to move forward with a working machine, I’ll post an update separately to make it easier for other members to find.

@lia Unless anything has been added without my knowledge, none of our samples were created from Eufy designs.
