Dedicated printer for the purpose of Sublimation in the Textile area.

Notice

  • This machine does not require an induction.
  • This tool may be used while alone in the space.
  • The small A4 swing head heat press does not need an induction, same cannot be said for the big A3 Heat press an induction is required for that but its currently out of order (Place holder for link).

(Note: The following is effectively the contents of the induction process, if it exists)

Before Use:
Print test page on normal paper if all ok
Then test your image on normal paper
Then if all is OK print with Sublimation paper

Self Help tips:
Regularly spaced vertical lines: Printer head issue - Do clean head on app 1-3 times max
Semi regular horizontal lines or blotches: roller feed issues and/or dripping head: clean rollers and feed blank paper sheets through until the it comes out as a clean sheet of paper.

Consumables contribution to Textiles space
If you plan to use a lot please consider buying in A4 sublimation paper to replace what you used. The ink will last a long time but it will eventually need replacing. You can buy supplies from https://www.inkexperts.co.uk/

Maintenance
MAKE SURE IT IS NOT SWITCHED OFF - unless for maintenance @textilestechs!
Print a full page once a week
Ink in it needs to stay the same make


Any Sublimation paper will work but some are specialised for:
Fabric
Acrylic
Mugs
Phone covers
White coated thin aluminum
Coated wood
etc…
